Here are 5 Things You need to know about 101 Eola.

First off allow me to discuss the walkable dining scene available to residents of 101 Eola. Directly across the street is the Stubborn Mule and this is a fantastic place to enjoy the outdoor patio in the evenings or a Sunday brunch, but don’t forget to make a reservation. On the opposite corner is one of the best Thai restaurants around called Oudom Thai & Sushi Restaurant. There is always a friendly face inside and the bar is a great place have lunch or dinner. If your not feeling like leaving the building Muddy Waters is located right downstairs to pop in for a quick bite to eat or the sidebar for a beverage with some friends. Now there are about a dozen more restaurants within a five-minute walk of 101 S Eola Dr. but it will save that for another blog post.

2. The second thing you need to know about 101 Eola is the parking garage. Yes the parking garage, while it may not sound as sexy as local dining, I assure you this is one of the reasons why living in the building is so attractive. Whether you are buying or leasing a unit in 101 Eola you will have a gated and secured parking spot and that a great thing to have living downtown. Especially with the number of events, parades, and activities right outside the door. The best thing about the parking garage is it is only 4 levels with easy access in and out. No going up 7 levels in a corkscrew to get to your spot, there are buildings in the area where that is a reality.

3. 101 Eola is actually the name of the building and part of the address. The actual address is 101 S. Eola Drive Orlando, FL 32801. I mention it because I have had the question asked about a dozen times in the last 6 months.

4. The fourth thing that you finally need to know is what floor plans are available. I have made a quick list below for you to check out.

 

  • Cherokee Floorplan: is a fantastic studio layout that is 644 sqft of well thought out space
  • Lawsona Floorplan: is a great space for 2 people to live and is 997 sqft with a bedroom, office, and 1.5 baths
  • Eola Floorplan: is a 1255 sqft 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom layout with more space than both units above
  • Copeland Floorplan: 1198 sqft slightly smaller than the Eola. This is also a 2 bed 2 bath
  • Penthouse: You have reached the pinnacle of 101 Eola and there are 3-floor plans to choose from starting at 1771 sqft

5. The fifth and possibly most important thing to know about 101 Eola is there is not real estate or leasing office in the building. It is a condo of mostly owners with a wonderful concierge. Unfortunately often times buyers and future tenants will wander in and want learn about 101 Eola, maybe check out some unit, and get information only to find out nobody is there to help. Total there are 146 units in the building ranging from 644 sqft to 1774 sqft along with retail and restaurant space at the base of the building. The building was constructed in 2008 and is a distinct midrise in downtown Orlando. All of the units feature floor to ceiling windows, with attached balconies to soak up the Florida sun. Back to the question is The best building in Downtown Orlando, 101 Eola? If you ask me, YES it is. I am confident that the majority of the residents would also agree and confirm my thoughts, but each for different reasons I am sure.
